The Stuff That Dreams Are Made On: A Night Dreams Workshop – A WorkHorse WorkShop

A good night’s sleep – a blessing for many, a longing for some, a necessity for all of us. Yes, life thrives on regular sleep, in whatever form it descends.

But the daily dip into the unconscious allows much more than mere rest for our weary bodies. It nourishes our souls, as well, by opening the way to dream. Shakespeare’s Hamlet says it best. To sleep, he wishes, perchance to dream.

The Rev. Rebecca Mahr Cartus (FCM) echoes the classic line in The Stuff That Dreams Are Made On: A Night Dreams Workshop, a WorkHorse WorkShop. She bases the dream workshop on the idea that dreams speak in a universal language of symbol and metaphor. And each dream comes in the service of health and wholeness – for the dreamer and for the dreamer’s community.

The dream workshop promises to explore individual dreams for message and meaning and to investigate them as mirrors of our selves, our communities, and our commitments.

In all, we, dreamers, have a chance to honor the gift of sleep and to reaffirm our collective wish to dream, together, toward a better world.
